Yes, port forwarding is available and seems to work very well. Reserving IPs and enabling port forwarding is very easy from the app. I was able to set port forwarding for Plex media server very quickly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Each unit has a port to run a cable directly into. From the app, you can select which devices get priority signal so as to receive best reception at all times
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't checked port forwarding. You can reserve individual IP addresses, but not a range. Hopefully an upgrade will let the administrator reserve a range of IP addresses. Note that the IP address for the router can only 192.168.1.1. If you use any other IP address structure, you can't (yet) configure this router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can make IP reservations for specific devices. It's all done through the app on your iOS or Android device. The device has to be connected to your router first. Then it won't get reassigned to the new IP address until after it requests a new IP address from the router (I usually reboot the device to move the process along faster). http://www.jaredbodine.com/google-wifi-unboxing-setup-and-review/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, static ip can be assigned to a device. Not tried port forwarding. Google wifi support is very friendly and helpful. They resolved my wireless printing problem also. Thanks
