Google wifi is too slow for gigabit broadband. Even the top end orbi may not be fast enough to get full speed. Hardwiring is likely the best solution.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks for the help with this. I do have a DOCSIS 3.1 modem so it should handle the higher speeds. I'm going to give the Google WiFi a try and see if it helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as I know, simply upgrading the speed of your connection with your cable provider is not enough. You also need to ensure that your cable MODEM is DOCSIS 3.0 and can handle gigabit speeds. I had a speed problem after I upgraded my service with my provider to 150 MBPS and did not know that my cable modem also had to be changed. So I purchased a Arias Modem DOCSIS 3.0 with 1.4 GPS speed. That did the trick. Just my 2 cents.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will do wonders. Totally worth the money. It triangulates your wifi and meshes the network in all locations.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will. The reason being is you can spread the wireless capabilities to different locations. By doing that, it gives u better signal on dead spot areas that has poor wireless signal. Also, very easy to setup.
