Yes. You would log into your fios router/modem and turn off the wireless. You would then plug one of these devices into one of the ethernet ports on the back of your fios router/modem. Connect to the google wifi device using the phone app and set up the google wifi. Only one device needs to be plugged into your fios router/modem the other devices only need outlet power. Each additional device needs to be added to the network using the phone app one time. Hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was able to connect my Apple Airport Extreme to my FIOS internet service last week as a test. There are two types of FIOS setups, one has a normal CAT5 cable coming from the box they put onto your house and one uses TV coax cable. If you have the CAT5 version they you would only need to get FIOS to break your lease with its actiontec router and then your new router (google wifi) should get an IP address from FIOS and take over as your router. The apple setup was fairly easy after a little longer on the phone with FIOS support than I would have wanted. If I ever get mine I will post an update and confirm with actual hardware setup that all works fine.

You'd connect one of the Google WiFi devices to the FiOS router and then put the other Google WiFi devices where you most frequently use wireless devices.
