I was going back and forth b/w this and another more expensive system. Completely satisfied with the google! Easy set up good control of network devices and great speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am very satisfied with the google wifi. I know there are higher-priced products, but I see no reason to pay more money for a more expensive system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually, I've set up both the Velop and the Google WiFi mesh (in our house and my parents' home), and the Google product was extremely easy to set up in comparison to the Velop. It took me around 15 minutes to set up the Google WiFi main port and 2 satellite ports, and the signal is strong and the speed excellent. The Linksys Velop mesh (appearing to have the same features) took 2 hours to set up on two attempts, requiring extensive tech support by phone to get it to work properly. The speed and range also doesn't seem to be quite as good as for the Google WiFi, but these are two different houses, so it's not an apples-apples comparison. It may be a software problem with the Velop setup, but from my perspective the Google WiFi was much easier to use and works great.
