Yes, it is. You just have to disable the ISP name and the wifi from the Verizon router. The way I did it, it is that I set up Google Wifi with the same ISP name as the FiOS router and the same power to avoid connecting all my devices. Since this will connect you to either 2.4 and 5.0 networks, you will be fine. Super easy to do and set up!
