“I have Verizon FIOS and need to keep my current router in order to get FIOS TV. Can this be used with the FIOS router to expand the wifi signal to low signal spots in the house? If so, is there any setup directions on how to accomplish this?”

Absolutely, this is how mine is set up. Just wire from the Fios LAN port to the google internet port with the included CAT5 cable and follow the setup direction on the app. Easy, easy set up. The app walks you through everything.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We also have your internet service provider. We don't use it for TV, but it's our ISP and landline phone provider...This works perfectly. I followed the directions included. Basically connect ONE of the 3 units via the Ethernet connection on the modem. It does ask you to download a Google app to your mobile device to facilitate the connections. I think it can also be done with a computer that was wifi capabilities, but not positive. It didn't affect our ability to stream TV stuff, so unless you don't have any ethernet ports available on your FIOS modem, you should be good to go. Be patient as the connections may take a few minutes. At first I thought I missed something, but it was just making me practice patience. All good and no problems since.

The first plugs into your router with an Ethernet cable. The others you place in different parts of your house. They need to be plugged in. You will need to give the network a name and i believe you administer it an app. (My son is the one who did this, so I am not certain of all the steps).

It works off your existing router it does not replace it depending on the size/layout of your home you will need either the 1 or 3 pack and the set up walks you thru everything. It's very easy! Place the repeaters near the areas you notice low signal now.
