This product will provide a wide/strong wifi signal inside your home 'behind' the internet modem. Your internet speed over wifi is still limited by the internet speed contracted/delivered by your provider (Hughes).

This won't make your provider's signal any faster, but it will ensure that the signal is broadcast through your home at the fastest available speed. For example, if your signal coming in is 10 Mbps, that's the fastest it will be anywhere in your home.

It has helped our system however we are a wired internet (FTC) so not entirely sure about the hughes system

If the issue is your bandwidth, then it won't help.
