You can add more WiFi points as needed. This shouldn’t decrease the WiFi speeds, only expand the coverage area.

That said, Google's materials do state that they could find nearly no testing conditions under which they needed more than six attached units, but it is capable of exceeding that if necessary; i.e. it is very expendable.
