I have a 3 pack one of the router connected to a Netgear web managed switch with a hack lot more then one device ran fine.

That doesn't quite add up. Once you connect devices to the switch, the switch is the manager for the devices, not the google wifi hubs.

If you go modem the google wifi and google wifi out to switch it will work, I have mine setup the same way.
