• That depends on your landline connection. If you have the analogue POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) landline, you don't plug it in to this router. On the other hand, if you have the VOIP type landline then your phone modem will plug into this router. Each unit has a ethernet port at the back to be able to plug in a wired ethernet device.
