It is waterproof and the stitching is so smooth you will not realize is 2 cams, that us why is a better cam, also it has the stabilization for any of your shoots, pictures or video.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's not "better". It's a completely different camera. It is actually two GoPros that shoot 180 degree a spherical video each. The GoPro Fusion Studio takes the footage from both cameras and stiches it together to create 360 video and photos. Comparing a GoPro 5 or 6 to this camera is like comparing an apple to a peanut. Completely different application completely different purpose.

I own basically every Black Edition from the 3+ up to the 7 currently, but I have the 8 ordered. If the 360 stuff doesn’t appeal to you just go with the Black Edition of whichever Hero you think will meet your needs!
