    • Answer Some troubleshooting steps you might try are to first disconnect the camera from any external power source and remove the SD card. Press the Status/Pair Button on the front of the camera to see if the camera responds. If there's no response, attempt to reset the camera by pressing and holding the Status/Pair Button for ten seconds. After releasing the button, leave the camera alone for five seconds, and then press the Status/Pair Button again. If the camera does not turn on, connect the camera to a 5V/1-2A wall charger using the GoPro USB Type-C cable and watch for the camera's top LED to turn on. If you don't get any response, try a different cable or charging source. After 10 minutes of charging, press the Status/Pair Button to see if the camera responds. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the GoPro Support team can help with additional steps.

  • QuestionI'm disappointed by the non-removable battery. Is there a weatherproof way to attach external power?

    • Answer There is not a way to charge the HERO11 Black Mini which also allows the camera to be waterproof. If you need a removable battery, the HERO11 Black has that feature, but like the Mini, it will not be waterproof while connected to external power.
