Black has no touchscreen but increased Frame-Per-Second capabilities. If you want to grab stillshots from 4k video (30 fps vs 12 fps), go with the Black. If a viewfinder is more important, then go Silver.

You can record up to 240fps in 720p with the black but not with the silver. Black doesnt include the LCD screen and have to buy it separately. The Silver does include the touch screen.

Both you can control and change the settings from your cellphone since they both have Bluetooth and wifi connectivity.
