- Answer Not sure about the airplane mode question but you don't need a home wifi to download videos or pictures from the session to a device. The session provides its own wifi signal that your smart device conects to.

- Answer The only thing setting the 2 cameras apart is the software that comes loaded on the cam once you unbox it. model CHDHS-102 has the newest software CHDHS-101 has an older software that can be easily updated once connected to the GoPro app.

- Answer Yes! It definitely captures all trips. We bought the gadget that attaches to the middle of your chest to it can have somewhat of a P2P (person to person)view. Choose whatever gadget suits you, but i highly recommend it.

- Answer I would look for something else, maybe with a front and back facing camera, also you can not set this camera to record looping video without connecting it to a Phone App every single time you hit record. as far as the video I have tried it as a Dash cam for awhile and it does not capture much in the dark unless you are on a very well lit street.

- Answer I thought the price was a bit high myself. They are coming out with a bunch of new ones with small cost. However, I think its a risk paying for a 80$ one when later down the road the chance that "I should have bought the 200 one" creeps to the back of your mind. Its great if you plan to use it for several adventures. Not if your buying just for around the house stuff.

- Answer technically yes, but you should just get an actual dash cam for that purpose. if only using it for short distances, i.e. not long distance trips, it would be fine but you would have to delete the videos after each recording. it won't loop the video over and record over which would be more beneficial for a dash cam.
