• OH MY! the Low Light is amazing on this thing... there is a review on youTube that you can look up that shows it... its 2 guys comparing the 4 black vs the 4 silver and the silver KILLS it.

• It has settings that will pick up low light in order to record in the darkest time

• NO IR, it does have a low light option, but from my trials, I find a way to bring in more light. Light is good.

• Yes it does provide an option for low light recording. It is significantly enhanced compared to the Hero 3.

• This product can record in low light situations, however, the quality may not be as good as daytime footage. It does not have IR capabilities.
