Is the gopro5 waterproof? null

Supposed to be waterproof up to around 30 feet without an additional external case. Haven't tried it in the water but it worked fine through a nasty rain squall on a bike ride.

It's water resistant right out of the box, there is a separate housing you can purchase to make it waterproof up to I think 150-200ft

Yes, it's water proof now without having to put a plastic case on it which also makes the sounds of your recording sound way better than with the previous GoPro hero with the water proof plastic case on it.

Yes the GoPro 5 is totally waterproof without any special case. It comes waterproof right out of the box.

Yes, it is!!! but only for the first 10 meters. And i don´t know how the salt will affect the camera, so for the beach/ocean i use it with the housing. I also record my dad talking in the beach, and using the housing you still have a good sound.

Yes, I believe up to 33 feet. For me this is huge because now I don't have to worry about using it even it there's a good chance of raining and having to carry bulky water proof casing.
