Get the 6. The extra processing power is worth the $$.

Please try again later.if its only for photos, theres no reason to get an action cam let alone gopro hero 6. unless you really need something that small for some reasons, for pictures id go with sony rx0, it has bigger sensor and way better dynamic range but lacking in 4k.
