It's great for snowmobiling. The one thing to keep an eye on is that all lithium batteries (like the ones used in GoPros) can drain quicker in colder temps than they would when it's warmer. If you keep the GoPro warm - like in an interior pocket on your coat - between shots, you'll maximize the battery life.
