So most of my footage for recording soccer lasted me about half a game which is equivalent to about 40-55 mins. I would definitely look into more batteries or a portable go pro charging case. To answer your question though, through my own personal experience “no”.

Please try again later.It's possible, but would require that the HERO8 Black be powered with external power like a power pack or plugged into a wall outlet or computer since the battery by itself will not support that long of a recording. For memory, the HERO8 Black can use SD cards up to 256GB, which should be large enough to hold 8+ hours if shooting at 1080, and should even be able to hold right around 8 hours of video if shot in 4K.
