“Is a special case needed? Are there corrosion issues for being in salt water? Camera will only be used while surfing. I have issues with my Hero 7 that the battery door has major issue with corrosion due to being in salt water frequently.”

• No special case is needed unless you plan to take the GoPro deeper than 33 feet. If you are using the GoPro in salt water, it's always a good idea to rinse it off with fresh water after use.
