“Can I use this camera for monitoring horses in stall for summer where temperature can reach 102 degrees, but also view from my phone as well from long distances? May be away up to 500 - 1000 yards from CPU. Thanks”

As for the temperature, I would not recommended .. Since the back is the way it cools. As for the distance u have to be about 50 yards at most
