• No, it is mounted on the back of the camera...But with the wide field of view, selfie's shouldn't be a problem with any Gopro.

• I don't see how since the screen is attached to the back of the camera and you wouldn't be able to see it when the back of the camera is facing away from you when taking a selfie

• Not really, the LCD screen is in the back of the camera and isn't visible from the front, if you were to use it for selfies, nor does it rotate out or up like the cameras many use for vlogging. Your best bet in this case would be to just use the GoPro app to frame your shot.
