• You actually use the app on your phone. The device and lights are placed or stuck around the tv and you turn it on and off with you phone. There may be a way to connect it to the tv to turn on automatically when the tv turns on, but if so it would be completely safe yes there’s no way for that technology or connection to hurt or damage your tv in any way possible.
