If the power goes out, does the clock still keep time. null

Mike- If the power goes out unforturantly, you will have to reset the clock.

Yes it keeps time, the screen is not on though, but when the power comes back up, the time is still set, same with the alarms. You do have to add 2 aa batteries that are not included to have this feature and make sure they are kept fresh like smoke detectors, change at daylight savings time to assure they are staying charged.
