I bought the 80 volt chainsaw last month. So I have a battery and charger. This is why this makes sense. Your first tool should have a battery and charger. Then you can use the same battery and charger for another tool.

Once you have you would then just buy the “tool only” models since you would already have a battery and charger from a previous tool. Just make sure your tools are the same voltage so that you can swap the batteries among all your tools without issue.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had purchased the blower earlier which came with two batteries. The batteries are interchangeable so the fact that I had two made this a good purchase for me. The trimmer with the battery cost well over $200
