Hi James. Thank you for your question. Snow throwers can be stored at any temperature if the environment is sheltered (indoors) and dry. Batteries and chargers should always be stored indoors at room temperature. We hope this helped!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Cover the blower when not in use, if it's stored outside. Keep the blower dry so rust does not start on metal parts. Keep the batteries charged all year round and store the batteries inside where its room temp and dry. Do not store the batteries in a shed that gets hot during the summer months.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Definitely take battery out when not in use as the cold weather will drain that battery so so fast. And those batteries are not meant to go dead especially for long periods of time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say yes, it would be OK to leave outside, but I would recommend throwing a tarp over it just to keep the internal electronics safe from the elements did have a chance to finally get to use my snowblower and this thing runs like a tank I was very impressed
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would not trust the elements for this machine. It is light enough that I put it on top shelf in my garage. Call me old fashioned, but since this is an electric powered tool, I want to prevent the elements from destroying or weathering the wires and anything else inside. I have not gotten a chance to use it yet (Still waiting for the first real snow in STL), but based on the reviews I should not be disappointed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's just a motor and logic boards, should be ok outdoors under a roof as long as rain doesn't get on it then freeze it. Might apply plastic safe car wax type coating all over the outside surface (along with inside the snow chute and turret groove) just to keep it slightly protected from the elements. Definitely agree to remove the battery, even if it doesn't get damaged it'll be very low powered until warmed up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
