yes it is silicone. it really does help hold the pencil and helps alleviate pain in hand from writing all day.

Its a very stetchable silicone ,!!!! And the grip ? Ahh. Great. —— Until a weelk or so went by and it was falling off the pencil ——literally and w ease I wish i knew of a replacement but ill never buy another one and th8nk i had a lemon Goid luck if yiuve already gotten this product
