No, accidental damage is responsibility of the consumer, not Best Buy or any other retailer--unless you bought a protection plan that covers accidental damage through whichever retailer you purchased the iPod from.

These just create a barrier and increase the amount of force it would take to break the device. If you broke your screen you will need to pay to replace your screen.
