- Answer Great question! The case is not rigidly attached to the clip, so you could replace the clip with a different style if you wanted.

- Answer No, accidental damage is responsibility of the consumer, not Best Buy or any other retailer--unless you bought a protection plan that covers accidental damage through whichever retailer you purchased the iPod from.
