QuestionHow does the foot rest work? Like a recliner?

- Answer In a way, I suppose the foot rest 'could' be used like a recliner, depending on how tall or how long a person's legs are. One would have to use the 'lean back' feature to comfortably use the foot rest, imho.

- Answer Not sure never looked for ours is on carpet. Son plays driving games and has no problems.
