• There are several settings and you can set it up so it is not likely to be triggered by a pet.

• Motion detection can be set to MIN, LOW, MEDIUM,HIGH and MAX

• No. You cannot make any calibrations or block out pets. Heads up....Customer service for this item is nonexistant. They do not answer phone calls and do not reply to emails.
