I understand your frustration. My suggestion is to get a MicroSD card to use in the camera, and erase the card once it’s full if there’s no necessary footage that’s been captured. If you do capture any unwanted activity, download that footage onto your hard drive and, for added protection, back it up in the cloud so it doesn’t accidentally get destroyed.
