A:Answer Gunnar has multiple different types of blue light glasses all with different levels of blue light protection. This blue light protection is called Blue Light Protection Factor (BLPF). There's Clear (35 BLPF), Amber (65 BLPF), Sun (90 BLPF), and Amber Max (98 BLPF). So yes, you can use the Sun level of blue light protection to block out a great deal of both blue light and UV rays, but remember, natural blue light is GOOD for your health. I highly recommend NOT wearing sunglasses as much as you can when not looking at screens, but if the blue light and UV is too intense for your eyes, try wearing the lowest level of protection outside first, and work your way up if you have to, while taking them off when you feel the light is not overwhelming.
