“HR Taxcut: What are the pros/cons of purchasing the actual CD versus downloading the software to my computer?”

• I always like to buy a cd instead of downloading for multiple reasons: security (vs putting your personal information on the internet), easier to load on multiple machines and to file electronically. keep the cd for any future uses, including computer breakdowns, to file ammendments, etc.

• Hello Danny - Thank you for your interest in H&R Block. The programs are the exact same and it is simply user preference. Many of the newer computers do not include a disc drive so we like to just provide an option that allows those users to download and install.
