It is for installation on one single stand-alone computer, and then other people can use that computer to do their tax returns. It is NOT permitted to install this version on a server and then be accessed from multiple nodes. The end user license agreement does not limit the number of tax returns that can be prepared off of that single stand-alone installation. It comes with five federal e-file submissions at no extra cost, so that is proof that H&R Block allows for multiple tax returns to be done from the one installation.

It comes with a code that is valid for up to 5 electronic filings of federal tax returns via this product. Electronic filings of state returns is available too, but there is a charge for each. I have several family members who come to my house to do their taxes using this software - it can only be installed on one computer - and we all use the code to e-File our federal returns for free, then we print our state returns and file those by mail. Each family member then backs up their tax forms to their own flash drive (not included with the software purchase) and takes that home with them for secure storage.
