“Is this the product for someone not self employed, but employed, who has a mortgage on their home, owns two rental homes, and has investments? Deluxe plus State said it was for homeowners buying a home with investments. Premium plus State said it was for those with rental homes and selfemployed. I'm buying for someone who used Tax Cut for years, which doesn't seem available. Which is best for someone who needs Fed, State, has a home w/a mortgage, two rental homes and investments who is employed, but not self employed?”

• I know it will cover your mortgage. I would buy the deluxe. It has an option to upgrade to premium if needed. They also have the best tech support out there.

• You can also be self employed and still use this program. All of your questions, this software can handle with ease.

• Hello and thanks for your question. I would suggest using our Premium tax software based on your rental income. Premium has all of the benefits of Deluxe with the additional focus on rental income. We are the makers of Tax Cut, we simply rebranded a couple of years ago to H&R Block Tax Software.
