If you’re trying to reinstall or update the program, make sure to uninstall the previous version first to avoid any conflicts. Please note: The five e-file limit for personal tax software is an IRS restriction, not a software provider limitation. This means that purchasing multiple copies of the software under the same taxpayer’s name or account will not increase the number of e-files allowed. Parking fees, tolls, and certain taxes/interest can be deducted separately. • Actual Expense Method: Deduct actual costs (gas, repairs, insurance, etc.) based on the business-use percentage. • Limitations: You can't use the standard mileage rate if you use five or more cars at the same time, claimed certain depreciation, or received qualified rural mail carrier reimbursement.
