Hi! Thanks for taking the time to ask. Yes, the shelving for this unit is removable and can be placed on higher or lower supports to make room for other, larger items. However, in answer to Hunter's question, the manual doesn't explain sufficiently how to adjust the shelves. The lowest shelf must come out first, lifting up the back and then tipping it down almost vertically. The next shelf up can then move into slot right above it, and the lowest shelf that was just removed, can slip into the midway slot. Maybe I missed something but trying to remove the top shelves seems impossible since they hit the molded edges of the doors, even when fully extended.
