I had the optional Icemaker installed also. Mine does the same exact thing. It spills ice to the back of the tray, which sometimes drops down into the bottom of the refrigerator and also into the bottom freezer drawer. My icemaker also does not shut off when the bucket is full. We have to turn it off manually once a bucket gets full. I would also like to know why this is happening and how to fix it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same issue when the ice tray is full or near full. My solution is to turn the ice maker off before it gets too full and turn it back on when it gets low. A bit of a pain but the on / off switch is easy to locate. Works for me!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve had to do the same turning it off as it doesn’t cut off itself. It’s not convenient and sounds like a design flaw. Hopefully Haier will answer
