“The fridge beeps every time I open the door, have to reset to stop. Any one knows how to turn that off?”

I have this issue as well. Got into the habit of pressing the button after shutting the door(s). It's annoying. It did stop completely for a few days, but then started up again last night. Love the fridge otherwise, but this is really annoying.

One day, seemingly out of the blue, the control panel started beeping erratically and incessantly. We too realized that holding the lock button for three seconds was the only way to avoid the beep-freakout, but if we miss the short window and forget to lock right after closing the door(s), let the beeping commence... Haier - please advise!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello. When the refrigerator door is open for more than 2 minutes, the Door Open alarm will sound. The alarm can be silenced by closing the door. If the door is left open for longer than 7 minutes, the light inside the refrigerator will automatically switch off. Thank you for checking. Olga
