Hey there, Congratulations on receiving your brand new refrigerator! We know you'll enjoy using it. It can take up to 24 hours for a newly installed refrigerator to reach temperature. Your refrigerator has an automatic energy saver system that circulates warm liquid between the outer case and the inner case of the refrigerator to prevent condensation from building up on the outside of the refrigerator. The case can feel very warm, especially around the doors. Because the refrigerator contents are so cold, condensation from the warmer air around it can build up (just like a glass of cold water gets condensation), so the refrigerator has to be warmer than the room to evaporate the condensation. It will not harm the refrigerator or its contents. We hope this information helps. Stay in touch! Mike@Haier
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.a follow up-- I asked about the warm outside-- its the side panel, not the back, that feels warm....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Give it 4 hours to start freezing ice. Should start to cool off a few minutes after being plugged to the wall. The back panel might get hot to the touch
