Hi Max, We have (had) the same challenge like yours with less wall space (2 inch). At 90 degree door opening the drawer comes clear to reach items easy even for cleaning. but drawer is "condemned" to stay there forever. Removing door bins doesn't help as the door itself blocks the drawer to fully retract. Clearance is spacious enough to reach into. Cleaning the drawer requires to remove the lower shelf to angel-up the drawer out. This happens only a few times a year. We are very happy with the fridge. The two freezer drawers are a game changer. Bit pricy but we highly recommend the unit especially in limited spaces. Good luck with your decision making.

Yes, the door bins can be removed and you can see instructions on how to do so if you look at page 10 of your owner's manual here: https://files.bbystatic.com/cbShc0xPfvq20Cq0AluBzw%3D%3D/7E9D6632-328F-40B0-A671-322B05F472B7.pdf - In addition, crispers can be opened all the way at 90 degrees, but to remove crispers, the doors must be fully opened. We hope this is helpful information! - Guy@Haier
