“I have a very small kitchen, which forces me to put the refrigerator next to the dishwasher, and the microwave on top of the refrigerator. Will heat be a problem with this configuration? Also, is the backing made of metal or plastic?”

The refrigerator can be installed next to a dishwasher as long as clearances required are met. We do not recommend putting a microwave on top of the refrigerator. We are glad you checked. Olga
