Hello- We appreciate you sending in your question. Yes, you can remove the drawers for larger items in this unit. To remove the freezer drawer you will want to extend the drawer fully, and then lift up on the drawer and pull out to remove. This information and more can be found in the use and care manual on page 15. If you need a copy of the use and care manual that can be found on our website by searching the model number.
