A:AnswerI had the optional Icemaker installed also. Mine does the same exact thing. It spills ice to the back of the tray, which sometimes drops down into the bottom of the refrigerator and also into the bottom freezer drawer. My icemaker also does not shut off when the bucket is full. We have to turn it off manually once a bucket gets full. I would also like to know why this is happening and how to fix it.
A:AnswerI purchased this fridge for our basement bar area so the ice maker was a necessity if you want to have ice available.
We considered an ice machine (much more expensive than an ice maker), and glad we went this route with the fridge and ice maker added.
