Hello F18Paul - At the bottom right corner inside the freezer interior is a step to accommodate the compressor hardware, the interior dimensions and compressor step dimensions are: Interior - Length: 37.5" ; Width: 17.5" ; Height: 25.75". Compressor: Length: 37.5"; Width: 8"; Height: 9". -TREY@HAIER
