Q: QuestionI purchased a Haier 9.8cuft fridge/freezer for my Mother in law see is complaining about the LED is blue tint and hard to see in side. Any adjustment can be made to make the color white on the LED or brighter

• A:Answer Purchase refrigerator/freezer thermometers. I always use them. It seems especially important with this one. The temperature gauge on mine is extremely sensitive and you should wait 24 hours after adjusting it. Mine ends up being set at a hair over 2 to keep my fridge at 38-40 degrees. The manufacturer recommendation of a setting of 4 will result in freezing items in your refrigerator compartment. Of course, how loaded the refrigerator and freezer is matters. I tend to fill the freezer and don’t keep a lot in my refrigerator. Using the thermometers as a guide. My freezer tends to stay between -10 and 10 degrees.

Q: QuestionThe fan is not working in the freezer. The refrigerator is on but the fan is not moving. I don’t see anything about this issue in the user manual. Hope you can help

Check the fan for an obstruction such as a cheese wrapper, a credit card slip, etc. Remove the cover at the bottom on the back of the refrigerator. We also recommend disconnecting power for 2-3 minutes to reset the internal electronics. If the above doesn't resolve the issue, service may be needed. We’re very sorry to hear your having trouble with temperatures in your fresh-food section and would love to offer you some guidance in this. We would recommend that you check to make sure the air vents in the wall of the compartment are not being obstructed, as this can block proper airflow. You should avoid placing items against the sides or directly in front of any vents and only want to store food inside the trim of the glass shelves. --- Your fresh-food temperature control dial has 7 settings from 1 (the warmest) to 7 (the coldest). We recommend that you keep the dial halfway between cold and coldest. You can find additional guidance on maintaining temperatures within the helpful troubleshooting guide on pages 19-20 of your Use and Care Manual. If you've already tried setting a higher temperature, verify that nothing is blocking the vents where the cold air is coming out, or being sucked in. Check that nothing is blocking air circulation and remove any item that is close to the air vents. If the problem persists, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). We hope this helps and want you to know we're wishing you the best. - Guy@Haier

• A:Answer Hi Casey123, thanks for reaching out! Yes, this unit can be leveled by adjusting the two leveling legs that are located at the front, bottom corners of the unit. The front of the refrigerator should be 1/4 inch higher than the rear. This should be measured using a level. You can raise the refrigerator as much as 1" safely. We hope that this helps! Based on the Haier website, the following approximate dimensions for this unit are as follows: H: 59 2/5" x W: 23 3/5" x D: 25 1/5".
