Q: QuestionWhen door is open 90 degrees can the produce drawer slide open? And with the door at 90 degrees can the shelves and drawer be removed for cleaning?

The temperature range will vary by product. In general, the fresh food section will cool to an average temperature between 34 and 41 degrees F, and the freezer temperature will average between -10 and 20 degrees F. If your refrigerator is not getting cold/cool: Verify the refrigerator is plugged in to a working outlet. Make sure the unit is turned on and that the thermostat control is set to a cold temperature setting. Frequent door openings. Allow time for warm food to reach fresh food temperature. Check gaskets for proper seal. Adjust temperature to a colder setting. If only the fresh food or only the freezer compartment is not cold/cool: Check to make sure the air vents in the compartment are not obstructed. • A:Answer Hello, Thanks for reaching out to us. We recommend you adjust your temperature setting. We recommend 4 as the setting. 1 is the warmest setting. It is normal for the top and sides of the unit to be warm or hot to the touch during normal operation. Make sure that you have an inch of air space around the case to allow good airflow. Q: QuestionI have just been given a Haier fridge. I'm trying to control the temp. So are when I have it on 4 it freezes a glass of water, when I move it to 6 it freezes also. Please help me what setting is correct & any other things I should look at. thanks

• A:Answer My Haier has never wanted to go above 2! in the refrigerator section. Set at a hair under 2 it maintains 40 degrees well. Variations will occur as you add a load of not yet cold things to it. The location of the temperature dial -- not my favorite, it is easy to hit by accident. This is a terrific refrigerator for the money but it's not like a full size one where temperature control is immediate. But once you find your desired temp it's OK. I keep a little temperature dial in the refrigerator and the freezer. This is a worthwhile expense of ~ less than $10.

• A:Answer The high setting on the Crisper drawer is good for leafy fresh vegetables and the low setting for this drawer is good for vegetables or fruits that have skin. You can read the full description for this drawer on page 13 of the Use and Care manual found on the product page. For a salad that contains both leafy vegetables and skinned vegetables you will want to set your drawer to the middle.
