Hi Nell. Thanks for reaching out! We're sorry to hear about the confusion surrounding the height of this unit. Based on the Haier website, the following approximate dimensions for this unit are as follows: H: 59 2/5" x W: 23 3/5" x D: 25 1/5". The Overall Height (what is listed here) is the height to the top of the case. The hinge adds another 1/2". We hope that this helps! Stay safe. -Michael
