I share this problem with other 9,8 owners. I will tear into it and ensure the condensate drain hose is not plugged but not too sure about that. The unit has never had food in it that would cause this issue. I put a plastic pan on the top glass shelf a few days ago and the water seems to no longer be an issue. Now wondering if the extremely cold air from the freezer section is causing moist air to condense on the top shelf (and yes, it freezes there). If this thread remains open, I will report back after diagnosing. I am a retired refrigeration service technician BTW.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, and thanks for reaching out to us about your refrigerator. Having standing water on your top shelf can be concerning and we'd like to help with this. We suggest making sure none of this water is coming from any food you have stored in it. If you still can't find the source, you may need to schedule service. We apologize for any inconveniences, and if you have any questions, please contact us via social media. Thank you. -Sylvia@Haier
